TNG Awarded First Place at Innovation Award 2025 "Best Practice AI" for AI Code Migration

Recently, our colleagues Michael Pisula, Konstantin Koschke, and Thomas Endres showcased our progress on AI Code Migration at the noris Customer Congress in Nuremberg. Our expertise convinced the jury to award TNG the first place at the 2025 Innovation Award for “Best Practice AI”. We’re honored to receive this recognition.

AI Code Migration leverages Artificial Intelligence to efficiently modernize outdated legacy code. Our semi-automated approach of combining rule-based tools with Large Language Models allows us to simplify our client’s migrations. Among other tools, we use OpenRewrite and GraphRAG for migrating an old PL/1 code base to Java.
