Happy holidays from TNG to you and your loved ones!

For the cover of this year's Christmas cards we wanted to create something special: a short animated video featuring festive scenes from the TNG locations Munich, Budapest, Oxford, Melbourne, and Tallinn. To accomplish this, we made use of several innovative AI tools. As a first step we asked ChatGPT to come up with a text-to-image prompt. The output is then used to generate a series of beautiful images in Midjourney. To animate the static pictures and incorporate the typical Christmas bustle in the cities we worked with the video AI RunwayML. In a final step, we edited and combined the different scenes and added our Christmas greetings. This resulted in the following short video:
